Supervision

Supervision is theoretically based and designed to meet the supervisee’s specific clinical and developmental needs. Several options are offered for clinical supervision to accommodate the therapist’s clinical practice schedule.

As a community of passionate graduate-level educators and clinicians, Envision Counseling is committed to providing the highest quality of competency-based clinical supervision and training. Supervision occurs in a systemic and strength-based, multiculturally competent framework. Supervisees can access multi-model supervision and training in a variety of formats at affordable rates.

The supervision process is designed to strengthen clinical competence in four specific areas:

  1. Evidenced-based skill acquisition, and multicultural competence;
  2. The self of the therapist, and the therapeutic relationship;
  3. Measurement of client session outcomes;
  4. Professional development, ethics and client advocacy.

The supervision process involves (a) observation and feedback; (b) on-going self, client and supervisor assessment; (c) evidence-based skills training and modeling; and (d) collaborative case conceptualization and treatment planning. Supervision focuses on raw data from the supervisee’s continuing clinical practice as observed through a combination of live secured video relay, and audio or video recordings of previous client sessions.

Supervision is conducted by Washington State and AAMFT approved supervisors, and meets Washington State licensure requirements for graduate and post-graduate marriage and family therapy and mental health counseling training.

Rates are:
-Individual supervision – maximum of 2 supervisees in session
$120/hr ($60/person if two attending)
-Group supervision – maximum of 6 supervisees in session
Rate varies dependent on content of group and number of participants
