Mental Health Awareness Month

Mental Health Awareness Month is taking place during this month of May! Every year at this time, activities are planned all over the Unites States to highlight Mental Health Awareness. Since 1949, local events have been scheduled to reach millions of people to raise awareness and educate the public. Mental Health Awareness helps reduce the stigma (negative attitudes and misconceptions) that surrounds mental illness.
